Thorsby was eliminated from the Class 2A state softball playoffs with two losses at the South Central Regional tournament on May 7 at Troy.
The Rebels fell to Goshen, 3-2, after holding a 2-1 lead in the sixth innings. Thorsby was then eliminated with a 10-4 loss to Clay County.
“I think we just came out flat,” coach Nicole Hilyer said. “It was hard, knowing it was the last time you’re going to get to see that group of [seniors].”
Emily Farris, Ashlin Hilyer, Tiffany Morgan and Halie McKinnon all drove in runs during the day for Thorsby.
