Annie Bernice Duke Bolding

Annie Bernice Duke Bolding, 79, of Randolph went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, at Bibb Medical Center Nursing Home.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 2 with the Rev. William Kee and the Rev. Leslie Duke, brother of the deceased, officiating. Burial was at Randolph Cemetery following the services.
Survivors include one son, Mike Bolding of Randolph; three daughters, Charlotte Dodson, Beverly Brown and Mitzi Elliott (Calvin) all of Centreville; three brothers, Leslie Duke (Ann) of Calera, Pat Duke (Carolyn) of Fairhope and Sam Duke (Susan) of Douglasville, Ga.; and three sisters, Ruth Lambert of Helena, Barbara Nelson of Bessemer and Leah Atkins (Tom) of Marietta, Ga.; five grandchildren, Grant and Shane (Amber) Brown, Lance Bolding, DeeAnn and Callie Elliott; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Ann was a devoted member of Randolph Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Bibb County High School and received her Master’s of Education from the University of Montevallo. She taught faithfully at Brent Elementary School for 22 years and was beloved by her coworkers and students. She was a dedicated member of Alpha Delta Kappa, an honorary teachers’ society.
Pallbearers were the deacons of Randolph Baptist Church.
