On Monday, Aug. 17, Jemison High and Middle schools held their annual Back to School Bash.
More than 700 students and parents attended the bash. It consisted of our high and middle school volleyball, football, band and cheerleaders being recognized to kick off the beginning of our seasons.
It was a great turnout, and everyone seemed to enjoy the evening.
The event was hosted by the Jemison Band Boosters and the Jemison Athletic Club.
After the recognition of our students, the boosters provided a dinner for our attendees.
We wish to thank our band and athletic club for their commitment and support of Jemison Middle and High schools.
On Thursday, we will have our annual football game against Chilton County High.
We will be selling tickets each day during school hours.
Our hope is that this will help eliminate the long lines at the ticket booth. Tickets are $6 and can be purchased at the school office.
Our volleyball team will be playing at Shelby County High School on Aug. 25 and at the Calera Tournament on the Aug. 29. Please come out and support our Panthers.
