Charles Edward Spigner

Charles Edward Spigner, age 87 of Maplesville, passed away on June 13, 2011, at his residence.
He was born in Autauga County on June 16, 1923, to the late Samuel Spigner and the late Camilla Langston Spigner.
Mr. Spigner was a retired machine operator for International Paper.
He is survived by: wife, Jessie Mae Spigner; son, Charles “Monk” (Janet) Spigner; granddaughter, Cheryl (Edward) Cleckley; granddaughter, Sharon (Patrick) Mathis; great-granddaughter, Haley Cleckley; great-grandson, Michael Mathis; and sister, Frances Davenport, all of Maplesville.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14 at Pletcher Community Holiness Church.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 15 from Pletcher Community Holiness Church with the Rev. Joey Green officiating.
Burial will follow in Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church Cemetery in Maplesville.
