Along with the many events coinciding with the upcoming Peach Festival, The Clanton Advertiser is proud to announce its Miss Peach Photogenic Contest is underway.

The contest will be divided into age groups ranging from infants to 18-year-olds.

Contestants must submit an entry form, a photo, and $25 to the Advertiser no later than 5 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011.

Photos cannot be larger than 8X10.

A guest panel will judge the photos, and winners will be announced in the Advertiser’s annual Peach Edition.

Prizes will be awarded to the winners, who will also have the opportunity to ride in the Peach Parade.

All judges’ decisions are final.

“It’s an important part of the Peach Festival, and one that we’re happy to be a part of,” said Stephen Dawkins, assistant managing editor for the Advertiser.
