Larry Morrow Mays, 72, of Clanton, Alabama passed away August 15, 2020 in Clanton.

He was born May 7, 1948 in Jefferson County, son of the late Audie Mays and the late Irene Mays.

He was a communication manager with the Alabama National Guard.

Surviving are his wife, Sunny Mays; daughter, Melissa (Rocky) Johnson; son, Andrew Mays; brothers, Charlie Mays, Frank Mays, Harry Mays & Leighton Mays, granddaughters; Georgia Simpson and Haley Johnson; grandsons, Matthew Simpson, Andrew Simpson, Trent Mays and Dalton Bodie; great-granddaughter, Lily Bodie; great-grandson, Tommy Bodie; former wife, Debbie Mays.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Audie Vee & Irene Mays; sister, Sarah Martz.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. James Watkins officiating.

A private graveside service will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery, Montevallo, Alabama.
No flowers. Donations may be sent to the Audio/Video Ministry at West End Baptist Church at 2005 2nd Avenue North, Clanton, AL 35045.
