Raleigh’s Place will host Celebration, the nonprofit organization’s largest annual fundraiser on Oct. 24 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Clanton Conference & Performing Arts Center.
This year’s event will have live and silent auctions for attendees to take part in, as well as a prize wheel and plenty of food and fun to go around.
Some of the anticipated items in the live auction will include a 1991 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster, a custom-built AR 10 rifle and a Mitchell Funk autographed numbered print of the Twin Towers.
A wide variety of things will also be available to bid on during the silent auction portion of the event. Some of the varied items will include jewelry, household decor, outdoor sports equipment, golf ball sets, antique China and hand-woven baskets.
The silent auction items will be setup on several tables throughout the space, while live auction items will be bid on one item at a time.
“There is definitely something there for everyone,” said Kyla King with Raleigh’s Place. “Some of our bigger items this year are AirPods, a Kendra Scott necklace and a fire pit package that comes with chairs and a s’more making kit.”
There will also be a gift card wheel where people can purchase gift cards at a discounted rate.
Two cycles of cool sculpting and a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle will be raffled off separately. Tickets can be purchased prior to the event at $10 per ticket or $25 for three tickets. The winner of the raffle will not have to be present to claim their prize.
Christmas ornaments and hand-painted tiles made by kids who attended Raleigh’s Place annual summer camp will also be available for purchase.
“These crafts have been made by each of our campers over the last three summers,” King said.
Admission is free for the event.
