Tractor Supply in Clanton will be hosting Market Day on May 18.
The event will see vendors set up in the store parking lot selling items such as homemade or homegrown goods.
According to team lead Morgan Bradberry, there will be produce, homemade crafts and even small animals like rabbits and chickens for sale.
“Our corporate office came up with it for us,” she said. “We have two or three every year, and we announce ahead of time. You can buy/sell produce, art — anything handmade really.”
The event will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There is no cost for vendors to attend.
“You will have to have a canopy, because it’s going to be hot,” Bradberry said. “You will need to bring a table and chairs, because we don’t provide any of that. All of the profits that you make go to you.”
Both Bradberry and store manager Dennis Price said that the event is a way to bring people in the community together.
“As members of this community, we strive to do whatever we can to support our neighbors,” Price said in a press release. “Market Day allows us to highlight and support the great talent we have here, while creating a fun event everyone can enjoy.”
According to the release, the Chilton County Humane Society will be attending the event as well.
