RealtySouth in Clanton is hosting a career night on Jan. 29 from 6 to 8 p.m.
The event is free to attend and open to anyone who would like more information on becoming a real estate agent.
“We want to recruit people that want a new career, want to better their career, make more money and have a brighter future,” said Patty Bingham, the managing broker at RealtySouth. “We will explain what real estate is all about and what prospective realtors can expect when they get their license. Anyone can come. There will be no obligation. We want people to come as they are and to come with a head full of questions and ideas.”
According to Bingham, realtors help market real estate and help people attain their goals when it comes to housing by moving into a larger or smaller home depending on their needs.
“The old saying is ‘we help nice people buy pretty houses,’” Bingham said. “We list and show property and help work out the kinks with financing.”
RealtySouth came into being in 1995. The business was a merger of individual parent companies “that had been around for 50 years,” according to Bingham.
Anyone interested in attending the career night is invited to contact Bingham by email at pbingham@realtysouth.com or by phone at (205) 351-1930.
“We look forward to seeing everyone there,” Bingham said.
RealtySouth is located at 1500 Seventh St. N.
