John W.  McKee, Jr., 68, of Clanton, died Monday, August 20, 2018.

He was born Thursday, January 12, 1950, in Chilton County, son of the late John William McKee and the late Mollye Louise Megginson McKee.

He was a retired Fire Chief for the City of Montgomery. He graduated from Auburn University in 1972.

Surviving are wife, Elizabeth R. McKee of Clanton, AL; son, John S. McKee of Morgantown, WV; sister, Sylvia M. (Larry) Mitchell of Huntsville, AL; brother, James M. (Susan) McKee of Auburn, AL, and a host of other family.

Friends will be received from 12 – 2 p.m. Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Martin Chapel in Clanton.

Memorial Service will be Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Martin Chapel.
