Gayla Frances Wyatt Jones, 71, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at her residence.

She was born in Alabama, Saturday, November 9, 1946, the daughter of the late Curtis D. Wyatt and the late Jewell Cost Wyatt.

She was a retired clerk for the Columbiana Water Board.

Surviving are her husband, Billy C. Jones; 3 sons, Jeffery A. (Melinda) Jones, Kent (Kellie) Jones, Charles N. (Tonya) Jones; 8 grandchildren, Justin Jones, Kerri (Deborah) Jones, Kassadie (Justin) Harris, Kasey Jones, Ashlyn Jones, Chad Jones, Corey Welcher, Johnathan Dickinson; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers, John Will (Linda) Wyatt, Joe (Margaret) Wyatt, Randall (Doris) Wyatt, Danny (Lyn) Wyatt; sister, Sherry (Jim) Willums; brother-in-law, Max Scott, and a host of other family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis & Jewell Wyatt; sister, Helen Scott, and great-grandson, Jacob Jones.

Friends will be received from 12 – 2 p.m. Thursday, August 2, 2018, at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will follow Thursday, August 2, 2018, at  2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Will Wyatt and Rev. Joe Wyatt officiating

Interment will follow in Chilton Memorial Gardens, Clanton, Alabama.
