The Chilton County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a political forum on May 29 at Senior Connection in Clanton.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. and is expected to last between 90 minutes and two hours.

The forum will include local candidates for the offices of Representative of District 42, probate judge, sheriff, board of education and superintendent.

Both political parties will be represented.

The superintendent and sheriff candidates will each get an opportunity to answer questions submitted by the public. This will be moderated by former district judge Rhonda Hardesty.

The remainder of the candidates will be given a certain time period in which to address the crowd.
