Linda Laverne Klinner Liveoak
Linda Laverne Klinner Liveoak, age 72 of Maplesville, passed away Friday, Dec. 1 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster.
She was born in Selma on July 19, 1945, the daughter of the late Woody Klinner and the late Laverne Lenior Klinner.
She was a former nursing assistant.
She is survived by her son, Thomas “Wes” (Tina) Dees of Stanton; daughter, Penny (Russell) Gregg of Stanton; grandchildren, Nicole Dees, Ethan Gregg, and Benton Gregg; step-grandchildren, Patricia Finney and Brianna Finney; brother, W.R. (Cindy) Klinner of Daphne; nephews, Kyle Klinner and Bruce Klinner; niece, Nancy Grace; and special cousins, Debbie Athey and Donna Babin.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Woody and Laverne Klinner.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. from Mt. Carmel Baptist Church No. 2 with Rev. John Barfoot and Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating. Visitation was held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial followed in the Mt. Carmel Baptist No. 2 Cemetery in Maplesville.
