The Panthers made the long trip to Mobile County, but lost its first round matchup against Vigor.

Eric Evans scored his 22nd touchdown of the season and found the end zone for the final time in his memorable career. It was the only points that Jemison (5-6) could muster against the Vigor defense on the night.

Despite the loss, it was fitting that the senior class played their finals games in the postseason.

It was Jemison’s second straight playoff performance and the current group of seniors was a major part in helping get the program back on track.

“[The] players played hard until the end,” Jemison head coach Van Clements said.
