A multiple car collision on Interstate 65, Mile 199 killed one and left others injured on Aug. 8

“Ronnie Lee Cooper, 61, was killed when the 2004 Saturn in which he was a passenger struck a 1999 Toyota. The Saturn was then struck by a 2016 Dodge after the initial collision,” according to an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency press release.

Cooper was from Crestview, Florida.

Felicia Knight, 32, of Crestview was driving the Saturn. The drivers of the each of the vehicles were injured.

Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.

The collision occurred at 10:45 p.m. on Aug. 8.

Alabama State Troopers are continuing to investigate, and further information is unavailable at this time.
