Pies by Mike is partnering with Butterfly Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center throughout July to raise funds for the center through Pies by Mike certificate purchases.

The deadline to purchase certificates is July 31.

“Knowing Jana Zuelzke personally,” Mike Graham of Pies by Mike said of the non-profit’s executive director, “I’m grateful for the work she is doing at Butterfly Bridge, and am thrilled to be able to assist her work financially.”

Zuelzke is also a child forensic interview specialist at the child advocacy center.

Certificates for the fundraiser are $20 each, and can be purchased by contacting Butterfly Bridge CAC directly at 205-755-4205 or by email at jzuelzke@butterflybridgecac.org. Certificates can also be purchased through Butterfly Bridge CAC board or staff.

All checks should be made payable to Mike Graham.

“You can use this $20 certificate for your favorite pie (pecan, tollhouse or fudge) now through Oct. 31!” a Butterfly Bridge press release states.

According to the Butterfly Bridge website, “Butterfly Bridge Children’s Advocacy offers a safe, child-friendly environment to children victimized by abuse or neglect as it carries out the mission to provide restoration and justice in their lives.”

“Butterfly Bridge provides a vital service to our community,” Graham said, “and I hope that this fundraising program will help them as much as possible, specifically in purchasing therapy supplies needed at the center.”

As far as the fundraiser for Butterfly Bridge goes, “This is the 2nd year we’ve done it,” Graham said, “and as long as it’s successful in helping Butterfly Bridge, I’d love to continue annually.”

Graham said, “I enjoy helping local ministries, charities, and community programs and have done the same, or similar, programs with En Fuego, CareNet, CCHS Band, as well as others.”
