Clanton – A new venue atop the Neighborhood Grill on the corner of Seventh Street and Fourth Avenue in downtown Clanton, is looking to give locals a new venue to host events. General Manager Jason Lea created The Loft in December 2016 shortly after moving the Neighborhood Grill to its new location last April.

Lea said his passion for catering and special events made utilization of the extra space a no-brainer. With a space covering roughly 1,800 square feet, The Loft has been a popular location among residents for hosting showers, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, business meetings, reunions, birthdays, graduation parties and even a surprise marriage proposal that included a private candle lit dinner for two.

The layout of the venue features a main room that is used for the bulk of activities and an auxiliary room that has a view of downtown Clanton often used as a space for food or playroom for children.  The Loft has, what Lea describes as, an “urban-rustic ambiance” that can accommodate 50-75 guests.  Patrons are allowed to provide their own food, however, Lea and his staff encourages guests to utilize their catering services. Special requested menu items can be arranged, but the catering service’s menu does include items such as heavy hors d’oeuvres, taco bars, meat and threes, pasta bars, and a tailgate inspired menu.

The Loft if available to rent seven days a week from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. To learn more about the venue, visit The Loft out on Facebook, call 755-2220, send an email to Jason@alpremiumhospitality.com, or visit 307 Seventh Street North.
