Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Lockhart

Ronald “Ronnie” Wayne Lockhart, 67, of Marbury died Monday, Dec. 19 at his residence.

He was born on Monday, Aug. 8, 1949 in Chilton County, son of the late Ernest Carl Lockhart and the late Dorothy Lorene Clark Lockhart.

He was a drywall installer.

Surviving are his wife, Marsha Lockhart of Marbury; daughter, Amanda Cleckler of Clanton; grandchildren, Shone Easterling, Taylor Brown, Joshua Easterling, Anna Brown, and Jacob Easterling; great-grandchildren, Alyssa Easterling and Riley Wayne Easterling; sisters, Sheila Lambert of Clanton and Deanna Payne of Leeds; brother, Danny Lockhart of Birmingham; half-brother, Buddy Gray of Verbena; step-brothers, Mike Harris of Clanton and Steve Harris of Clanton; and step-father, Ray Harris of Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Brown; and parents, Ernest Lockhart and Dot Harris.

Friends will be received from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. at Martin Chapel with Billy Maddox officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
