Betty Sue Blocker Lawley, 88, of Randolph, Alabama, died on Thursday, June 30, 2016. She left this life as she lived it, in perfect grace and surrounded by her loving family. Betty was born on December 23, 1927 in Alpine, Alabama.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents John and Rhoda Blocker, her husband Tommy Lawley, sisters Helen Hall and Louise Wilson, and brother John Blocker.

She is survived by her 3 children; Linda Champion (David – deceased), Nancy Scott (Danny), Terry Lawley (Ann); 8 grandchildren; Rita Cleckler, Lynn Smith (Larry), Neal Champion (Shannon), Barry Scott (Amy), Brandon Lawley (Summer), Josh Lawley (Tabetha), John Lawley, and Grace Hughes (James), 18 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Betty was a devoted mother and cherished her family and friends. She was a member of Randolph Baptist Church. Betty retired from Brookwood Hospital where she was a supervising registered nurse.

The family received friends at Randolph Baptist Church from 12:30-2:00 on Tuesday, July 5. The funeral service was at 2:00 followed by the burial in Randolph Cemetery.
