The World’s Church of the Living God held a special program for Black History Month on Feb. 21.
Church youth and sisters Sarah Beth Huntley (left) and Ada Ruth Huntley (right) gave a presentation titled “African American Evolution” where they discussed through art, essay and poem the journey of African Americans to equal access to the rights for all Americans.
The historical overview started in the 1700s with slavery and ended with the election of the first African American president.
