Estelle McClain Hicks, 89, of Panama City, passed away Dec. 13.
Estelle was born in Kissimmee, Fla., and lived in Panama City since 1978.
She was a realtor for Century 21, and a member of Cove Baptist Church.
Estelle loved golf, fishing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, James Chester McClain and George L. Hicks III; sons, Donald and David McClain and a daughter, Carol McClain.
Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Donegan (Johnny) of Dickson, Tenn. and Marcella Deriso (Larry) of Pavo, Ga.; her sisters, Nita Sue Owens of Compass Lake, Fla. and Jeannette Yount (Lee Cowan) of Lynn Haven, Fla.; her grandchildren, Angie Baggett (J.T.) of Dickson, Tenn., April Stokes (Chris) of Lynn Haven, Fla., Dawn Thompson (Charlie) of Columbia, S.C., Jodie Clemmons (Ricky) of Dickson, Tenn., Emily Dooley (Matt) of Columbiana and Kathy James of Opelika; seven great-granddaughters and six great-grandsons.
Memorial services for Mrs. Hicks will begin at 3 p.m. Dec. 15 at the Kent-Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor J.T. Baggett officiating.
The family will receive friends at the chapel from 2 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mrs. Hicks’ name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or to charity of your choice.
