A single-vehicle wreck early Friday claimed the life of a Clanton man.

Justin Everett Kyles, 33, was killed when the 1996 Nissan Maxima he was driving left the roadway and overturned, according to a press release from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

Kyles, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release.

The wreck occurred at 1:15 a.m. on Alabama Highway 22 at the 44 Mile Marker in the Stanton community.

No additional information was available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
