Several events were scheduled leading up to Friday.
Students are dressing up this week as part of the homecoming festivities.

A parade will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The parade will follow basically the same route as last year, beginning at the Fred’s shopping center parking lot, traveling down Fourth Avenue North to Sixth Street, then turning onto Second Avenue South to First Street, then turning onto Third Avenue North back to the parking lot.
A homecoming pep rally will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the school gymnasium.
Two assemblies held at the school this week have focused on decision making and students’ futures. Speakers included former student Jessica Martin, rapper Humble Tip and evangelical Scott Dawson.
