Thomas Jefferson “T.J.” Holston, 84, of Clanton, passed away Aug. 20.

He was born on Jan. 21, 1931, in Georgia, the son of the late Thomas J. Holston and the late Vera Wilson Holston.

He was a brick mason.

Surviving are his daughter, Vicky Skipper (Billy Joe) of Clanton; granddaughter, Brandy Orange (Bryan) of Clanton; grandson, Jeffery Cleckler (Hope) of Clanton; great-grandsons, Bailey Cleckler of Clanton, Adam McBrayer of Clanton, Thomas Cleckler of Clanton; great-granddaughter, Alizabeth Cleckler of Clanton, Hayesli Orange of Clanton and Marlie Orange of Clanton.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Louise Holston.

Friends will be received from noon until 1 p.m. Aug. 22 at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Aug. 22 at 1 p.m. at Martin Chapel with the Rev. Arthur Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
