Ruth Mildred Cranmore

Ruth Mildred Cranmore, 77, of Verbena, passed away July 12 at her residence.

She was born on Dec. 31, 1937, in Newburgh, N.Y., the daughter of the late William Palmer and the late Gladys Kent Palmer.

She was a loving wife and mother who spent her entire life loving and taking care of her husband and family.

Surviving are her husband, Jackie E. Cranmore of Verbena; daughters, Rhonda Stange (Larry Bruce) of Verbena and Debbie Bush (Curtis) of Verbena; sons, Richard Cranmore of Prattville, James Cranmore (Sandra) of Verbena, Wesley Cranmore (Bonnie) of Columbus, Miss. and Gary Cranmore (Cindy) of Prattville; 14-grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a host of other family including brother, Richard “Dick” Palmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Gladys Kent Palmer; sisters, Adeline Phillips, Betty Deines; brother, the Rev. George Palmer; and grandson, Corley Cranmore.

Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. July 14 at White Pond Baptist Church.

Services will be held July 14 at 11 a.m. at White Pond Baptist Church with the Rev. Donnie Burns officiating.

Interment will follow in White City Cemetery in Autauga County.
