Bruce Edward Tumlin

Bruce Edward Tumlin, age 62, of Clanton, passed away suddenly on March 14 at his residence.
He was born in Birmingham on Oct. 13, 1952, the son of the late Ruel J. Tumlin and the late Mildred E. Myrick Tumlin.
He retired from CSX Railroad as a foreman after 43 years of dedicated service. He also served his country in the Army National Guard during the Vietnam Era. Bruce had a passionate love for his country.
He is survived by wife, Peggy Tumlin of Clanton; daughter, Christy Tumlin (Matt) Stultz of Ohio; daughter, Sondra Tumlin of Coco Beach, Fla.; son, Chad Tumlin of Coco Beach, Fla., a grandson; and brothers Mickey Tumlin of Birmingham, Terry (Kelly) Tumlin of Warrior and Timmy Tumlin of Warrior.
Visitation will be held on March 17 from 6-8 p.m. at Ellison Memorial Funeral Home in Clanton.
Funeral services will be held on March 18 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Ellison Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Aaron Ellison officiating.
A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Village Falls Cemetery in the Bayview Community of Mulga.
