Earlier this year, Gatie Ray Mullins celebrated 99 years at a party hosted by her children and grandchildren April 20.

Five of her six children were present: Dot Carter, Barbara Bice, Oliver Mullins, Jeri Mims and Linda Mims.

Daughter Pat Aycock of Warren, Mich., could not attend.

Also with her were 12 of her 15 grandchildren, 19 of her 23 great-grandchildren, and her two great-great grandchildren were present.

Other family and friends also attended the celebration.

Mullins now resides at Hatley Health Care in Clanton, where she enjoys visits from her friends and neighbors.
