Two killed in wrecks Sunday

Two people were killed in separate wrecks in Chilton County on Sunday.
Christy Christian, an 18-year-old Prattville resident, was killed when the 2005 Nissan Altima she was driving left the roadway and overturned, at 3:13 a.m. near the 214-mile marker on Interstate 65, according to a release from Alabama Department of Public Safety.
Christian was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, according to the release.
A passenger in the vehicle was injured and transported to UAB Hospital.
Then, at 2:05 p.m. on Chilton County Road 28, one mile east of Clanton, 32-year-old Clanton resident Jason Hudgins was killed when the 2005 Kawasaki Vulcan motorcycle he was driving collided with a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe, according to ADPS.
There were no other injuries in the second wreck.
No additional information was available about either wreck.
Alabama State Troopers are investigating both incidents.
