Robert “Leo” Cofer

Robert “Leo” Cofer, 76, of Eclectic, passed away Dec. 1.
He was born on July 15, 1937, in Alabama, the son of the late Tonie Cleveland Cofer and the late Ester Leach.
He was a telephone cable repair lineman.
He is survived by his wife, Mary O. Cofer of Eclectic; sons, Jeffrey “Lon” Cofer of Eclectic and Tony L. Cofer of Montgomery; grandsons, Robert “Lee” Cofer of Eclectic, Jeffrey “Lyle” Cofer of Eclectic and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jeannie Franklin and brother, Howard “Buck” Cofer.
Graveside services will be held Dec. 5 at 1:30 p.m. at Mars Hills Baptist Cemetery, Jemison with Steve Franklin officiating.
