Annie Lee Minor Mims, age 90 of Clanton, passed away on July 31, 2013, in Autaugaville.
She was born in Chilton County on March 7, 1923, the daughter of the late Cornelius “Nelius” Minor and the late Mollie Catherine Connell Minor.
She was an inspector in the textile industry.
She is survived by: daughter, Linda (Charles) Turner of Autaugaville; daughter, Joan (Richard) Powell of Clanton; grandsons: Chris Turner of Atlanta, Allan Turner of Autaugaville and Tad Powell of Hoover; granddaughters: Kimberly Willmore of Prattville and Teenya Sutton of Alabaster; great-grandchildren, Christopher Turner, Micah Willmore, Matt Willmore, Bates Beckham, Kimberly Turner, Chelsea Belton, Avery Powell, Elizabeth Sutton, Jessica Gilliland, Elijah Sutton, Addison Powell and Ainsley Powell; and great-great-grandchildren, Chase Beckham, Izzy Belton and Evan Belton.
She is preceded in death by: daughter, inf. Sherry Diane Mims; parents, Nelius and Mollie Minor; siblings, Oscar Minor, Lottie Bell Smith, Arthur Minor, Lonnie Minor, Wallace Minor, Ella Mae Mims, Fonsie Lee Minor, Helen Baker, Elbert Minor, Ara Lee Minor and Katherine Minor.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 2, from 6–8 p.m. at Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with the Rev. Thurmond Cleckler officiating.
Burial will follow in Sunshine Assembly of God Cemetery in Clanton.
