Flora Mae “Paw Paw” Nelson, 90, of Clanton died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2009.

She was born on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1919 in Shelby County, daughter of the late Samuel Huddleston and the late Lonnie Castleberry Huddleston.

She was a nurse’s aid.

Surviving are her grandson, Mr. Larry Woods of Canton, Ga.; two granddaughters, Mrs. Leslie Durham of Verbena and Mrs. Tracy Attaway-Nelson of Clanton; great-grandson, Mr. Samuel Woods of Dothan; and great-granddaughter, Miss Sally Woods of Dothan.

Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12 at Elliottsville Cemetery in Alabaster with the Rev. Larry Anderson officiating.
