The Chilton County High School golf team scored a 139 Monday to defeat Slyacauga and Maplesville in a match held at the Clanton Country Club.

Blake Jenkins shot three under par; while Ivan Truss, Forrest Knight and Grantland Karn finished one, two, and three strokes over par, respectively.

Over the weekend, CCHS finished 12th out of 33 in a tournament held in Fort Benning, Ga.

The team managed a two-day total of 656. Forrest Knight finished with 153, Blake Jenkins shot 162, Ivan Truss came home with 163 and Grantland Karn rounded out the team with 178 for the weekend.
