The Greater Alabama Tuberous Sclerosis (TS) Alliance will hold the TS Walk for a Cure on Saturday, April 16 at Emmett O’Neal Library in Mountain Brook at 9 a.m.

Tuberous Sclerosis is an incurable disease caused by an abnormal gene formation. If you or someone you know has been diagnosed with TS, you are encouraged to join the Greater Alabama TS Alliance. The organization offers support, fellowship and updates on important breakthroughs in ongoing research. It also sponsors educational meetings that address health issues, emotional issues and adult living concerns.

The walk is a 5k, and will include a silent auction, kids’ crafts, special entertainment and snacks.
