Maplesville’s boys and girls basketball teams picked up home wins Tuesday over Billingsley.

The boys (3-6) won, 64-44.

Anthony Johnson paced the attack with 18 points, and teammate Matt Hamner wasn’t far behind with 16 points.

Casey Atchison added 10 points.

Carlos Caver scored 13 points for Billingsley, and Justin Snow dropped in 12 points.

Maplesville’s girls (6-3) earned a 49-42 decision.

Zuri Nix led all scorers with 26 points and also pulled down 12 rebounds.

Ebony Childers contributed eight points and seven rebounds, and Kiana Andrews had seven points and six rebounds.
