Jemison’s boys tennis team won at Shades Valley, 8-1, on Wednesday.

“We played pretty well today, as good as we’ve played all year,” JHS coach Benton Morton said after the match.

For most of the Panthers, it was their first time to compete on clay courts, but they performed well.

Singles winners were: Drew Posey, William Morton, Taylor Long, Andrew Morton and Jake Long.

Doubles winners were the combinations of Posey/Jordan Jones, Andrew Morton/Jake Long, and Cole Thompson/Nick Long.
