Chilton County’s golf team finished fifth in a competition at Timberline on Monday.

The Tigers, who combined for a score of 320 on 18 holes, were bested by Oak Mountain (307), Cullman (308), Oxford (308) and Chelsea (310).

Fifteen teams competed in the event.

Blake Jenkins shot CCHS’s best round, a 75, and teammate Forrest Knight shot a 76.

Jemison golfer Garin Hayes also recorded a 76.
