Betty Cunningham celebrated her 80th birthday on Sunday, Jan. 20 with all of her family and friends, plus her family at The Gardens of Clanton.

She was born Jan. 4, 1931 in Townley. She was married for 53 years to William W. Cunningham Jr. and lived in Carbon Hill before moving to Clanton.

Cunningham has two children, Brenda Berrey and Bill Cunningham, as well as eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Cunningham has lived at The Gardens for two and a half years.
