Betty Jean Joiner Curry, 82, of Crestwood died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Ky.

She was born Wednesday, April 11, 1928, in Tallassee, daughter of the late James Evard Joiner and the late Johnnie Robinson Joiner.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her son, Dwayne (Jeanie) Curry; grandchildren, Keegan and Kia Curry; and dear friends, Carol Smith and family.

She was preceded in death by: parents, James E. and Johnnie Joiner; husband, Dewey Wilson Curry; brothers, Edwin and Wilbur; sisters, Allene, Hazel and Myrtle; and nephew, Carl Joiner.

Services will be held Friday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow in Martin  Memorial Cemetery, Clanton.
