Maplesville boys, girls win at Billingsley

Maplesville’s boys and girls teams picked up wins Friday at Billingsley.

The boys won, 50-43, behind Anthony Johnson’s 19 points and 22 rebounds.

Teammate Matt Hamner chipped in a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Jared White had 12 points.

Maplesville’s girls won, 53-52.

Keshia Bailey (21 points) and Ebony Childers (22) both scored more than 20 points—and reached double figures in rebounds (Bailey had 12, and Childers pulled down 20).

Kiana Andrews recorded 10 points and 15 rebounds for the Red Devils.

Billingsley’s Lori Davis led all scorers with 32 points.
