In observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Monday, Jan. 17, Thorsby has rescheduled its council meeting. It will now be held Tuesday, Jan. 18.

The council will meet at Helen Jenkins Chapel at 6 p.m.

Also, Jemison will be holding its council meeting Tuesday at the Jemison Municipal Complex at 6 p.m.

All federal and state offices will be closed Monday.
