Schools in Chilton County have released registration dates and times for the 2012-2013 year.

All parents of children who plan to attend and are not already enrolled should come to the school and pick up a registration packet, complete the information and return it to the school on July 10 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Most of the registration papers may also be downloaded from the JES website.
Other necessary papers for student enrollment include a certified birth certificate; original, unexpired Alabama Certificate of Immunization; Social Security card or TIN; and proof of residence (a utility bill or lease agreement showing name and address).
A parent or legal guardian must complete the information for the student. A copy of custody or guardianship papers will be required, if applicable.
If the student will be entering first–fourth grades, a report card or withdrawal form from their previous school should be included. Parents should bring all papers to registration.
If a student will be in kindergarten, they must be 5 years old on or before September 2.
In addition, parents will sign up during registration for a time to have the new
kindergarteners assessed. A skills list will be given to parents to let them know which skills will be assessed.
