Doris Dean Rutherford, 84, of Elmore died Sunday, May 13, 2012, at Merry Wood Nursing Home in Elmore.

She was born on Tuesday, May 17, 1927, in Chilton County, daughter of the late Horace L. Rutherford and the late Zula E. Willis Rutherford.

She was a homemaker.

Surviving are her sister, Evelyn Bradford of Prattville; two nephews, Ronald Bradford of Prattville and Nick Bradford of Fredricksburg, Texas; and niece, Elizabeth Bradford of Wetumpka.

Friends will be received from 12-1 p.m., Wednesday, May 16 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, May 16 at 1 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Robert Gibson officiating.

Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery in Clanton.
