Max Williamson, age 79, of Maplesville, passed away May 13, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Gladys Williamson, and brothers and sisters, Duall Williamson, Runnel Reynolds, Clyde Williamson and Bobbie Nelson.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Williamson; children, Warren Wilkerson, Debbie (Mike) Friday, Mark (Mary) Williamson, Sharon Sasser and Vicky Burnside; brother, Doris (Opalene) Williamson; grandchildren, Merianna (Jeff) Wilkerson, Michael (Ashley) Young, Melissa (Pat) Wood, Melissa (Jason) Spell, Tesha Wilkerson, Justie (Mike) Evans, Kristiana Sasser and fiance Terri Carle, Brian Williamson, Warren Aubrey Wilkerson, Tiffany Chappelle, Kaylin Sasser, Landon Moore, Brennan Burnside and Jordan Martinez; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 16 at 11:30 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joshua Henry officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service, from 10-11:30 a.m. Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens with Selma Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Larry Hobson, Lee Wallace, George Henry, Jim VanSandt, Pat Wood, Brian Williamson, Mike Young and Terri Carle. Honorary pallbearers will be Drs. Clower, Chittom Sr. and Anderson.
