Dear Editor,

You and the Chilton County Commission should realize that Lay Lake is also in Chilton County.

Any time you write or the county does anything about our lakes, it is always Lake Mitchell.

Today, there was a front page article about ESPN filming on Lake Mitchell, and yet last week the big Bassmasters Classic was on Lay Lake.

In fact, they were also filming at the public boat area Saturday. I didn’t see anything in your paper about the tournament.

Of course, they had to put in in Shelby County because the county does nothing to encourage them to come here.

Maybe a little attention to Lay Lake would bring in some revenue to Chilton County.
