Christine Grace Blalock, 96, of Clanton died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Hatley Healthcare in Clanton.

She was born on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 1914, in Chilton County, the daughter of the late James Monroe Driver and the late Josie Simmons Driver. She was a seamstress.

Surviving are her two sons, Colyn (Linda) Blalock of Clanton, Gary (Judy) Blalock of Clanton; daughter, Judy (Johnny) McGalliard of Verbena; eight grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Eunice Sandlin; sister, Eura Sadlin; sister, Pearlie Sandlin; grandson, John Darren McGalliard; and granddaughter, Chrissy Lea McCord.

Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 17 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 17 at 2 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Harold Nelson and the Rev. Glenn Ross officiating. Internment will follow in Maple Springs Cemetery in Clanton.
