With Veterans Day this Thursday, Nov. 11, numerous businesses will be closed for the holiday.

Listed are the following closings and schedule changes:

Maplesville Town Hall and Water Department will be closed and trash pickup will run as normally scheduled.

Thorsby Town Hall will be closed and trash will be picked up Friday instead of Thursday this week.

Jemison Municipal Complex will be closed and trash will be picked up Friday instead of Thursday.

Clanton City Hall will be closed and trash will be picked up early at 6 a.m.
