A new way to reserve ballfields at parks in Clanton has been released just in time for preparations to begin for baseball season in the spring. By visiting www.clantonal.gov/facilities, residents can reserve fields for a certain number of hours for practices, games, gatherings and more, and it can all be done online. Fields from both Clanton City Park and E.M. Henry Park can be reserved on the website.

Here are the steps to reserve a baseball or softball field online:

1. Select either Clanton City Park or E.M. Henry Park from the Parks & Facilities list.
2. Click “View Subfacility” next to the desired field.
3. Click “Request Reservation” at the top left of the calendar.
4. Enter your reservation date and time, then click “check availability and continue.”
5. Follow the steps to submit your request.

Important notes from the City of Clanton while making reservations include double checking that there are separate reservation requests for each individual field one is requesting, and payments must be made in person at Clanton City Hall’s Water Department window. Reservations will be approved and completed once the full payment for the reservation is received.
