Thorsby High School’s Land Evaluation Team in its FFA program took home first place at the Central District FFA Fall Eliminations on Nov. 13, adding to the program’s long history of success in the event.

This year’s Central District Championship marked the sixth one for the program, and the team will move on to compete for the state championship in March of next year. Ava Robinson was the highest scoring individual in the central district competition. Other members of the team were Seth Rodriguez, Lily Smith, Mary Leigh Williams and Luke Wilson.
