The latest chapter in Leadership Chilton was centered around economic development on Nov. 12 and featured two stops in Chilton County. The group’s session was hosted by Central Alabama Electric Cooperative and board member Connie Bainbridge.

Bainbridge compiled speakers for the group throughout the day and organized tours of Adient and Sugar Hill Farms for the Leadership Chilton group. The tours provided a great learning experience about economic development and how it impacts Chilton County as a whole.

“Thank you to (Connie) Bainbridge, everyone who participated, the team of wonderful speakers, the tour hosts and Central Alabama Electric Cooperative,” a press release from the Alabama Cooperative Extension System said. “It was another great day for Leadership Chilton.”
