A Clanton man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in the morning hours of Nov. 18 in Birmingham on Interstate 65.

Harlen Ray Harris, 80, was identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office as the victim in the crash. Harris was a resident of Clanton. The wreck happened at 9:21 a.m. near University Boulevard on I-65. Harris was transported to UAB Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries and announced deceased at 11:30 a.m.

The Birmingham Police Department are continuing their investigation into the crash.
